Which would have address my question as to if you were using the Free or Pro Version and if your original post applied to the free or pro version. "In the new version of pro I have there is no CLI switches" Then a response to my question would be something like I know you guys need to monetize, but do you really need to make your app look like a weird cross between and a virus? ![]() The fact that this was my immediate reaction should be a huge problem, but it appears that you guys are perfectly ok with it. I didn't end up using your new version for several weeks until I had time to research the new problem. After getting the same thing twice, I didn't know if it was real, or if your servers were hacked and was giving me something malicious. u/mkleczynski, the first time I installed the new version, it looked so fake, that i immediately uninstalled it, and went to verify I didn't get it from a cloned website. Hell, the logo in the advertisement at the bottom left has more of a modern feel than the rest of the application combined. The more modern flat style similar to Microsoft's Metro and Google's Material Design is also present, but in very small amounts. When I open it up, I see two design styles: The first is by far the most dominant, with rounded corner, large gradients and text shadowing of Web 2.0 from many moons ago, and a small amount of the current design trends with flat looking logos and solid colors. ![]() If the point was to make Malwarebytes not look outdated, I think they missed the mark completely.
